A Master Pastelist and honours graduate in Fine Arts, Don won numerous awards including the 2004 RJ Ambler Memorial Art Prize for portraiture, the 2004 Caloundra Art Festival Drawing Prize & the Royal National Association First Prize for Contemporary Painting & Drawing in 2006.
Don passed away in November of 2006. His generous cheerful nature & cheeky sense of fun is remembered fondly by all who knew him and lives on in the lives of his family and friends.
